Further conference action on the Disaster/Bosnia Supplemental is expected on
Wednesday, June 4th.

Deputy Director John Koskinen will testify on Tuesday, June 3rd, before the
Subcommittee on Government Management, Information, and Technology of the House
Committee on Government Reform and Oversight regarding the status and
assessment of agency implementation of the Government Performance and Results
Act.



The House Rules committee is expected to consider the Budget Resolution on
Tuesday, June 3rd at 1:00pm.

On Wednesday at 4:00pm, the House Ways & Means Health Subcommittee will hold a
Reconciliation Mark-up on Medicare Part A and Part B.  The mark-up will go late
into the evening Wednesday and will continue at 10:00am on Thursday.   Beginning
tomorrow, we will send out a comprehensive daily reconciliation report, with
updates on House and Senate committee action and schedule information.

CONGRESS TODAY (6/2):

SENATE
The Senate continued consideration of S. 4, the Family Friendly Workplace Act.
A Cloture motion was filed on the pending amendment, and the vote is expected
to occur Wednesday-morning.

CONGRESS TOMORROW (6/3):

SENATE
The Senate will convene at 9:30am for morning business, and 2:15pm for
legislative business, when they will resume consideration of S. 4, the Family
Friendly Workplace Act. Amendments are expected to be offered throughout the
day; therefore, roll call votes are possible after 2:15pm.

The Leadership announced that they hope the Budget Conference Report will be
ready for consideration early this week.

HOUSE
The House will convene at 12:30 pm for morning business, and 2:00 pm for
